So Much Love

Just thought this looked cool. This is standing on my front porch.
Falon's pretty happy just sitting with a few toys.

This was so cute. Charlie adores his daddy.

I have so much love for my family that, at times, I feel as if I might lose all emotional control and turn into a big puddle of mush on the floor. Somehow I manage to reign it in. But as I'm reprimanding one of my children for walking through the house with mud on their shoes, listening to another one whine with hunger, trying to empty the dishwasher and get dinner started, keeping an eye on the clock so we're not late to soccer practice, smelling something funky coming from one of my kids (that I will have to take care of), and helping with homework all simultaneously. Which is just scratching the surface some days. I always try to stop myself and close my eyes in the midst of it all. I take a breath and remind myself that I will miss this moment in a few short years. I will miss the chaos of it all. I will miss my children needing me the way they do now. And I well up. I well up with so much love I can't hold it in. It pours out over my kids and suddenly I find all the patience in the universe to deal with whatever they sling at me. (Even if the slinging is literal and it involves something wet, slimy, and/or sticky!) I love my children.

Priceless.

Only Falon's 2nd time in the big tub. She loves it!

Charlie didn't mind her in there at all.

Joshua thought is was funny that he could "shoot" his brother from the other side...

Falon was laughing so hard at me. Brandon tried to get it on video, but she likes to look at him and the camera. He got a couple good giggles, though.

Love to all!

Pics & Videos :o)

What? Who? Us?

Pretty girl. It was such a beautiful spring day.

Upset...

Wait, is mom there?

Oh! Hi, Mom!

Hmm...

Maybe they're related...YOU THINK?!

This was naptime and Charlie was pretending to be asleep.

Then he said "Bah!" to try and trick me. lol

Cereal face. Happy tummy.

This video is hilarious. Sorry that my voice is so loud on it!

Got a cute little giggle. Falon adores her brothers.

Recent Videos

Falon can sit without the pillow, but it definitely helps!

She really loves her jumperoo.

This was a completely unsolicited moment. All 3 playing together! Charlie says "I did it!" and "Tickle! Tickle!" (in case you need translation)

Wow. Here we are already moving into March. Amazing. I wanted to give a brief update and share some pictures. I regretfully haven't taken enough this month. Just so much happening. We did get moved and I'm almost done putting the house together. We LOVE the house. It's funny cause there's not as much room, but we feel more comfortable. Like it's cozier. Joshua started at his new school a couple weeks ago. The first week was very exciting for him and every day he came home in a great mood. The second week he was a little more reluctant to go. He's starting to miss his old school although he's doing very well in his new class. All in all the transition has gone pretty smooth. He starts soccer here in Erie mid-March and that'll help him adjust a lot. Charlie's the one that's had the hardest time in the new place! Luckily we no longer have to go to the "old house" so he won't be reminded of the change. Falon is great. She's grown so much this last month. Today she's 6 months old. I take her to the doc on Monday for her check-up and shots.

Let's move on to the pics...

We all got a pretty nasty cold. Poor Charlie and Falon got the worst of it.
Falon found the baby in the mirror.

Nebulizer treatments look sad but help a ton.

Her first try with rice cereal! She did great! That's all she'll try. If I attempt to give her anything else she makes a face like I'm forcing medicine on her or something. I'll just keep offering!

The boys have a great time in the leaf piles.

Falon learned how to jump. It's one of her favorite things to do. And look at her fuzzy head!

Charlie announces "I did it!" whenever he does something he's proud of.

There's my Joshua! Like his hair? He likes to do it in a fauxhawk. :0)

Charlie looked cute in his rainboots and diaper. I wanted a picture and he thought it was hilarious to run away from me.

Falon's sitting up! She still topples often, but can stay up for a good while.

And look at that beeeeeaaaauuuuutiful sweater she's wearing. That would be the handiwork of my very own mama.

You should feel how soft and snuggly it is.
(Joshua is so handsome back there.)

Moving? Huh?

We've been pretty busy this year so far. Not a lot of time to take pictures, but I've done my best. :0) We're set to move in about a month. I already have the keys to the new place so I've been taking small loads over in my mamavan. We decided to move after getting a notice that our lease was soon to expire and we could stay for as long as we wanted as long as we agreed to sign a new contract with a new and higher lease. Uh....no. The search for a new place to rent started in Longmont and then soon branched out to Loveland, Louisville, Lafayette, Erie and other surrounding areas. I'm glad we found a place in Erie. I like the neighborhood and it'll only take Brandon about 15-20 minutes back and forth to work. When he goes back to school in Denver it'll be way closer than if we had moved to Loveland. We would've never seen him. This way we'll have a ton more family time.

I've decided to go ahead and switch Joshua to his new school soon after we move. I was considering driving him into Longmont every day, but it's just not reasonable for me to drive that much with the two babies. I want him to feel like he has a say in the decision-making process so he gets to pick what day will be his first. The new school is in the same district as the one he's going to now so it won't be a big change as far as academically.

I have a bunch more I could write about but I've got to go get dinner ready or my family's going to revolt. It's picture time anyway. Pictures are way better than my ramblings. ;0)

Falon Mae unhappy....

Happy...

Charlie can't let her get all the camera time!

Miss Mae patting Charlie on the back. "It's ok, dude. They love you, too."

Look at that belly! He loves his belly.

Joshua hiding from his dad. You always know when he's hiding. There's a silly giggle coming from somewhere...

Miss Mae in a dress her Nanny got her before she was even born!

I love my girl.

Caught jumping on the bed.

They were being really cute. That's Sierra with them.

Sierra managed to unscrew the top on my mentholatum. She kept sniffing it. It was really funny, but I guess you had to be there.

Sierra's absolutely in love with Falon.

What sweeties.

My Emma! She got to come spend the night with us when she was in town staying with her dad.

The two kiddos who first taught me how to be a mom.

These two definitely have something special.

Daddy and his baby girl. He's ruined for life.

Sleeping in her car seat. It was so cute cause she was holding onto her lamb.

I love pictures of my babies sleeping.

Until next time.......
